the unstable atlas

(2023–)

This started in 2023 and hasn't stopped. Not a series exactly. A pile that keeps rearranging itself. Screenshots, brand objects, small canvases: a Trump sneaker, a Jordan, a bottle of 212, Flintstones vitamins, a Harley. I paint them small, each one alone on white, the way things sit on Amazon. No shadow, no place. Just the object floating there. Then I put them next to each other and keep changing the order, little groups inside the pile, the way those sites do it.

I don't want it to settle. Every time I add one, the ones around it shift.
